this summer i want to go all out and become a better football player, i’m relatively slow and just not that strong.. i’m willing to do watever it takes, working out, protein shakes, the whole 9 yards, i want to come back and shock everyone, so what should i do?

a good thing to do at first is to buy a protein shake mix. i have pro whey plex which is a pretty good one to start off with (get vanilla, chocolate sucks). Jogging in the off-season will help you get in shape. A mile at first for a base and than start going up from there, probably 1.5 miles and better. If your team has a lifting program starting up, try to go there as much as possible. It doesnt matter if you can’t do alot of weight, repetitions will help you get stronger. As for speed: If your a line-man, try some small 10-20 yard accelerations. Reciever or d-back, do about 25-30 yard accelerations. For the linebacker, try some 20-25 yard accelerations. This would probably work for you.
