I need to eat so many calories because I?m burning so many on the court. I need to keep forcing food in and keep the weight down because if I didn?t eat, you know, thousands and thousands of calories everyday, I would just start losing weight from all that I burn while I?m on the court, while I?m in the gym, and so I need to kinda keep replenishing that, which means a lot of protein shakes, a lot of Gatorade, a lot of just replacing everything you have in you, and I try to eat as healthy as I can, but in the effort of just getting calories sometimes, there?s a little bit of junk food that sneaks in there. I eat pizza probably a little too much, but other than that, I don?t really like fast food, like the McDonald?s, Burger King, or any of those kind of things. When I first started playing, I didn?t have a trainer and a nutritionist that traveled with me or anything and I just wasn?t getting enough food. A couple of times, I just felt depleted when I was done with a match and it showed in my body and in how well I was able to cope at the end of long matches especially in the heat.
