Make sure first you're eating a variety of wholesome foods, which you should and must be if you're bodybuilding. If you're not getting a variety the safest start would be a multi vitamin that doesn't exceed the RDA requirements to keep it safe.
Here is a good article about 4 supplements worth considering.

Whey protein is great supplement, and I think a must for bodybuilding. Make sure you take it or "drink it" within 90 minutes of your workout. 90 minutes is the window of time your body has to replenish itself.

Good Luck!
References :
Most supplement manufacturers (Twinlab, EAS, Optimum Nutrition, etc.) has multi-vitamins and vitamin packs. Personally, I think vitamin packs are a waste of money since they usually costs $15-$40 for a one month supply whereas most multi-vitamins are stocked in a 100-130 (and more) days supplies and the cost is no more than $35.

DON'T DEPEND ON PROTEIN SHAKE MIXES FOR YOUR DAILY VITAMIN INTAKE. They only have a percentage of what is needed in vitamins. Keep in mind, also, that when you're lifting weight and exercising, your body is using up most of the vitamins that you're consuming.

But personally in my 23 years of training, I've only used multi-vitamins (Theragran-M, Centrim, etc) and have had no programs yet.
References :
Strength training since 1985.

Hi, if you are thinking of becoming a bodybuilder, supplements that I take are creatine, protein shakes, multi-vitamin, and glutamine should be your core supplements. You really don't need anything else if your diet is on track.
References :
competed in bodybuiling

The answer is pretty simple. Take the number one rated multivitamin on the market. Dr. Lyle McWilliams wrote a book called The Comparative Guide to Supplements. It rated a multivitamin called "Essentials" as the best.

Here is the website where you can buy it on line.

usually in weight gainers they have all the branched chain amino acids and other vitamins and minerals already included into the whey.

a good daily vitamin is all you really need though just as an umbrella if u dont eat as well as u should be each day. dont overdue it though thinking the more the better
References :
But Im worried about the other stuff like Vitamins, minerals, iron, calcium etc... Im thining of getting some tablets from the pharmacy.

What are some suggestions?
