Is it better to take sports drinks like Lucozade after, before or during training?
Or is it better not to use them at all? I’m quite fit but i was wondering if i could use these drinks to help train in any way for martial arts.

Generally people who take creatine shakes, would drink after a workout to help damaged muscle tissue.

Sports drinks will only come in handy if you are active for more than 60 continuously. If you feel lack of energy you might need to look at what you are eating before the sport. Water should be sufficient. If you choose to use them anyway it will be best to sip on them during an intense exercise. They are a sugar solution and will replace carbohydrates quickly if you are depleted.

I remembered something i had seen on the news and found this site. Milk is better, so they say, than a sports drink at rehydrating you after sport.

Energy Drinks before and During
AND afterwards water OR Lucozade Hyrdo active (Lucozade Hydro Active has been specially designed to hydrate you better than water alone.) but itsnt really an energy drink.
